This picture was over six years in the making.

More specifically, the first sketch/unfinished group pic I tried to do for *dixey of her Perfect Kismet characters was signed 2000. Over the years I've told her I'm gonna do a group shot and over the years one thing or another just made it fall through. Most recently I tried around Christmastime and though I was pleased with where it was going my children thought pencil was too boring for 'Miss Amber' and decided to color over it. And yes, yes that filled me with great emo... but I figured that was a sign that I needed to try it one more time XD

Why a group shot for someone else? Well *dixey's characters have always been an inspiration to me, whether they were doing their own thing in her art and stories or interacting with mine in RP's. I honestly wanted to do more of her characters but this incarnation of the team shot was already pushing two weeks worth of work. I was surprisingly not getting to a 'this needs to be done' point but I was defintely getting fidgety not sharing what I had with her! This sort of thing seriously drives me crazy >_>
