... except for her eyes, technically, but since they're more towards the reddish rose line of the brown spectrum I suppose they could be about pink, too.
*cough*
Today is *dixey's birthday and as such I have obviously concocted something art-wise for the occasion. This would be her character Pinky who is now a favorite around the house (I wonder why... it couldn't possibly be all the pink...). She's a Go-Go dancer, girlfriend of Star Galileo, and has the best hair ever. But it's not the best when you're inking and coloring them along with the flowers precariously placed around her head and clothes.
As per usual I was hoping to have a well thought out speech to go with the image. I seriously have all kinds of speeches that go through my head as I work on something and then I always feel brain dead when I get to this little description box. Right now the only thing I can think to say is that even though I spent an inordinate amount of time on this it doesn't reflect as much in the final product as well as I'd hoped and I wish I had horded more time to do more of her characters. Maybe next year
Wow! So much beautiful color, and details! This has such a soft feel to it - I love it!

So soft and lovely. I love the shades of pink you used and the wing shape is so delicate and lovely. And I totally feel your pain about her hair >> but yours came out beautiful regardless.

So many shades of beautiful pink and her pose is delicate yet strong at the same time. You did a wonderful job on this piece. I'm sure the birthday girl loves it.

There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.

The color scheme, and over all coloring is beautifully done.
Great job on the hair as well. c:
