I've got a few of these type completed already, but I picked the one I liked best to display here. I'm working on an art book to go in hand with the first (of hopefully many!) novels I'm writing on a bit each day. The three characters displayed are Delilah (the woman with the apple and book), Antoinette (woman behind the couch), and a daughter of the Sinclair family (they have importance throughout history in my novels).
So yes. If you don't see me posting consistently or you randomly see a commission followed by nothing, this is why. If it's not because of the two above mentioned projects, it's because I just got an account with the hArtist site and I'm getting off my butt and drawing Retro's co-stars.
Incredible shading here. It's good you're keeping busy, even if you're not showing it all on dA. I'd be interested in reading some of your work sometime too.
And doing an art book as an addendum to a novel... that's quite a novel idea... heh.

Kudos. Great work.

When one has dealings with scholars and artists it is easy to miscalculate in opposite directions: behind a remarkable artist one not infrequently finds a mediocre man, and behind a mediocre artist often a very remarkable man.
Gorgeous pencil work here and serious detail. I never had the gumption to put a lot of detail in traditional work cuz I was afraid to fail. But you do it so wonderfully. I love her breasts and her forearms/hands.

There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
