Ooops!

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 16, 2008, 11:05 AM
So in all the budgeting done for the upcoming move, the one thing we didn't factor in was a three hundred dollar deposit for turning the gas on. This is a foreign concept to me, having had an electric water heater and no working stove to worry about filling a gas tank or utilizing a gas company period. So, long story short, I offer up limited time commissions to save up this money!

One character - 30.00, 4 for 100.00
[link] [link] [link]
Digital Delivery only, paypal most definitely preferred
You pick the character, I draw the character, you get a print file, everyone is happy!

I'll probably be running this offer until May 15th or until I get the necessary funds to get that deposit paid (so I might end it early if this happens before the 15th). Kthx.

Some Things I Would Like To Try

Point One: Moving The Revolution!

Gotta head west, young man! And I'd like to not do it by scraping by without emergency funds, so if you want a commission then come and get it.

If you don't know what to commission but would like to help, you can always donate, cuz I have a button :3

.... button forthcoming once I get the code to work e_e Until then, have a link:

I suppose all donations need incentive, hm? I'll have to think on this. Maybe a sketch for every ten dollars donated? Hm, hm, hm.

Point Two : Innovative Thoughts Not So Innovative

As an artist, there are many things I'd love to do and never find myself getting to do. This sort of makes me sad. I figured it wouldn't hurt to list them here since I don't go out of my way to ever say the cool job type things I'd like to have a shot at. And who knows? Maybe someone with money would like to see my artistic interpretation in the formats listed below :)

1) A Triptych Set of Images (three images designed to hang together)
*120.00-180.00 depending on whether it's digital or traditional
*centralizing around one character, two characters (with the center image having both in it), or three characters.
*Also a good way to get a group shot/poster of your original characters!

2) A Trading Card Set (I'm a sucker for trading card sets)
*negotiable, depending on the amount of cards needed
*each card drawn on 2.5x3.5 (ACEO size) Bristol board
*yes, you get them mailed to you when the set is completed

3) A Sketchbook Set (also a sucker for organized renderings of original characters or themes)
*180.00 for thirty pages of just pencil sketches
*300.00 for fifty pages of sketches with at least three colored pencil color-ups
*By sketches, I mean these : [link]

4) Dudes in Distress (... I really need to draw men being tied up for once)
*I have no preference as to how this is ordered/commissioned!

Commissions - Last Call

Journal Entry: Wed Nov 28, 2007, 11:07 AM
I should have two more commissions done by late tonight or tomorrow afternoon so I figured it's a good time to post. Commissions will be open for at least the next two months and after that they will be closed permanently so... get them while the getting's good. What you see in my gallery is my style. There was a time I pretended I was a Renaissance woman and could do a bit of everything, but it's time to let that dream go. I do inked lineart that is usually described as 'illustration' or 'comic book style' and nothing more or less. I can loosely use photo references but your end product will still be the same; line art colored in Corel Photopaint :)

These commissions are for digitally colored 8.5 x 11 images and for the print sized JPG file. If you do not have access to a printer, you're in luck. I can now (again) send the print file along with the inks upon completion! Though, if choosing the print file, please add 10.00 to the prices listed below (for the print's production and shipping first class priority).

I have two price ranges for you. These work best for you, the customer, and me, the artist.

The Laid Back Customer - You want a picture, but you are more inclined to let the artist have free reign so that inspiration and creativity dominate the image they whip up for you.

Laid Back Prices -
Portrait/Bust of one character - 25.00
3/4 body (at least), one character pinup - 40.00
3/4 body (at least), two character pinup - 70.00
Two characters w/ detailed background - 100.00
Group Shots - Ask :3

or

The Specific Goal Customer - You want a picture, know exactly how the picture should look, and want it done a certain way. You have researched the artist you are commissioning and know this is the style you want your image done in.

Specific Goal Prices -
Portrait/Bust of one character - 40.00
3/4 body (at least), one character pinup - 75.00
3/4 body (at least), two character pinup - 110.00
Two characters w/ detailed background - 180.00
Group Shots - No :3

_______________________________________________

I obviously tend to lean towards Laid Back Customers if possible, but I won't refuse any work just because of the need for detail. Speaking of which, I understand the need to want things a certain way. Just know up front that I do not work very fast when the image is already preset before I get the work :) Also, on the subject of laid back customers, this does NOT include specifics for your characters. If your character has twelve piercings I will definitely be putting all twelve piercings on there, and so on! However, if your character's attire is very detailed and elaborate, consisting of specific armors that overlay on detailed fabrics and such, you will probably need to look at the Specific Goal Prices :)

Oh, and recurring commissioners (you know who you are) don't need to ask which one they should be picking from ^_^

*NOTES*

IF YOU WANT A COMMISSION FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR SOMEONE ELSE - Please have the commission ordered no later than December 10th so that it can be completed on time. If you are opting for a hard copy of the print and inks sent to the recipient's home, please have the commission ordered no later than December 5th so that it can be completed and mailed out no later than December 13th. I WILL let you know if the workload is too heavy to meet these shipping/delivery/completion goals ahead of time (as in 'before you pay';) :)

WHERE, WHEN, and HOW TO PAY FOR ARTWORK -
Currently, I am only accepting Paypal for commission work. This may change after Christmas but this is how it is for the moment. Once initial contact is made, payment must be made. I don't generally do partial payments or payments-after-completion work; it has never panned out in a good way to do it that way.

IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN A COMMISSION -
Send a devnote here or email me at undergrounduno at gmail dot com (replace the at with @ and the dot with . and no spaces in the email. Obviously :))

NOTICE:

*autumnwraith is taking commissions, currently. She's a lovely lady with a very awesome artistic style. Go check her out and make her work! :)

One More Round of Em, For Old Time's Sake

Journal Entry: Thu Nov 8, 2007, 7:11 AM
To Do List:

-Group Pinup for T. Ward
-Commission for *jkrolak - Completed!
-Commission for ~InfiniteExistence
-Commission for ~mangagirl - Completed!
-Commission for ~byakuya - Completed!
-Commission for ~turbov21 - Completed!

Once I get all or almost all of those above things completed, I will be taking commissions one more time. I have a very select few people I work for consistently who know I will still work for them regardless, but as far as a general public consumption offer goes... this will be the last time I offer up commissions. I love drawing new characters and working for new people, but I'm definitely at the point in my life where I need to get to work on my personal projects or I might never get them worked on. I'm almost thirty. Reality is evil ;)

So. If you think you might be interested or you have been interested in the past, save your pennies and keep watching. Final offer commission rates will be posted very soon.
